The Ahmadiya Movement

The Ahmadiya Movement

The Ahmadiyya Movement is an Islamic religious movement founded in British India by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in the late 19th century. Adherents, known as Ahmadis, believe Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was the promised Messiah and Mahdi, sent to revive Islam and unify humanity. Often facing persecution, the global Ahmadiyya Muslim Community advocates for peace, human rights, and the separation of mosque and state.
